I GOT A STORY TO TELL

Listen up I got a story to tell,
There was a man who worked hard for his money
He had a wife sweeter than honey, she was also funny
By many a dummy, but he loved her, spent his last dollar
Paid for her hair and nails at the beauty parlor
Gave him a daughter, he loved her, he needed her
Never would cheat her, loved her to much to beat her
Stay with her during a fever, he thought she was in love with him
Never befriended him, couldn’t get enough of him
All of the sudden things had changed
She was acting very strange, kind of deranged
He couldn’t comprehend, work ends at three she came home at ten
Became closed in, started fighting, since when?
Became independent and seeing other men
At the Motels and Inns, staying late
Two nights, six dates, something’s not straight
Kids don’t eat off a hot plate, she getting ready for a hot date
Husband drops the daughter off at school, concerned, he got to work late
Wife’s at home she hears a door bell ring
It’s the same guy from the other morning
It’s pouring so she lets him in
He got the money he wants at it again
She’s committing a sin, she's trying to see how far it would go
A silly ho, she might end up on death row
The guy is attached to her, just a lonely bachelor
He’s thinking it would be cheaper to keep her
Her husband’s speeding to get home
He panics can’t get his wife on the phone
Get’s a knife he’s about to slay, he hears a frequent moan
Afraid he opens the door, jumps on the guy with rage
Gave it his best shot, crushed his ribcage
Giving it all his got but the guy is half his age
Played for a fool, she broke his heart
Lost his cool, he was hurt and it tore him apart
She got caught, wish he seen it from the start
Now you’ll see them in court, this will tear his daughter apart
